    Each speaker separated and labelled on the Mac, using an optional add on of about 220 MB downloaded once.

Questions
Do I need to set any of this up?

Setup asks two things: which key you want as your shortcut, and what you dictate most so it can switch on the matching vocabulary packs. Both are changeable later in Settings.

Which features need an internet connection?

None of them. The speech engine ships inside the app. The only network calls are your licence key on activation and a version number once a day.

Is anything an extra purchase?

No. Everything here is in the one price. Speaker labelling needs an extra model of about 220 MB, which is a free download, not a paid add on.

What does it need to run?

macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon, because the engine runs on the Neural Engine. The download is about 570 MB.
